This is a close family group of 4 white does & 1 brown fawn from this past summer, that travels through our area. One of the does is going into her 3rd year and had a brown fawn last summer. The 2 older does are sisters from the same mother and are 5 & 6 years old. They had albino fawns last summer but they were lost to either bears, wolves or coyotes. It may be because the white fawns are not easily hidden & we had especially high numbers of predators in the area this year. Now the white deer seem to have a little advantage over the predators with their "snow" camouflage. To be continued....
